What is Family Hub?
Football teaches discipline, resilience and teamwork.
Our aim is to make sure young players also develop the financial knowledge and confidence they’ll need throughout their careers and beyond.
The Family Hub has been created to help parents, guardians and families stay part of that journey.
After each workshop your son or daughter attends, you’ll be able to access a range of resources that explain what they’ve learnt, reinforce the key messages and help continue the conversation at home.
You don’t need to be a financial expert.
In fact, these resources aren’t designed to give you all the answers. They’re designed to help you ask the right questions.
Because some of the most valuable conversations about money don’t happen in a classroom, they happen around the dinner table, in the car on the way home from training or over a cup of tea.
We’re here to help make those conversations easier.
What’s included?
Key Takeaways
A simple summary of each workshop, explaining the main concepts, practical lessons and key messages your son or daughter has learnt.
Perfect if you’d like a quick overview of the session and understand how you can reinforce those lessons at home.
Let’s Talk
A one-page conversation guide designed specifically for parents and guardians.
Rather than testing knowledge, these guides provide natural conversation starters that help continue the discussion without it feeling like another lesson.
Sometimes the best financial education starts with a simple question.
Workshop Videos
Short videos from the Munny team highlighting the key messages from each workshop, why the topic matters and how families can support their young athlete away from the training ground.
Why we’ve created the Family Hub
Professional footballers often experience financial situations much earlier than most young adults.
Contracts. Cars. Property. Investments. Tax. Friends asking for money. Planning for life after football.
Whilst we spend time helping players understand these topics, we also recognise that parents and families continue to play an incredibly important role throughout that journey.
The Family Hub helps ensure everyone is part of the same conversation.
Our philosophy
Everything you’ll find here follows the same simple principles.
We don’t sell financial products.
We don’t earn commission.
We don’t tell players what decisions they should make.
Instead, we help them understand their options, ask better questions and build the confidence to make informed decisions throughout their lives.
Financial wellbeing isn’t built in a single workshop.
It’s built through conversations, curiosity and good habits repeated over time.
A message from Andy Lang
“As a parent myself, I know how important those everyday conversations can be. One of the biggest things we’ve learnt over the years is that young people don’t always go home and tell their parents what they’ve learnt. Sometimes they forget. Sometimes they don’t know where to start.
That’s exactly why we created the Family Hub.
Our hope is that these resources help start conversations that otherwise might never happen. Not because every family needs to become financial experts, but because talking openly about money is one of the greatest gifts we can give the next generation.
Thank you for being part of your son or daughter’s journey.”

One final thought…
The best financial education doesn’t happen in a single workshop.
It happens when young people continue asking questions, sharing ideas and learning from the people they trust most.
We hope these resources help make those conversations a little easier.
